Chinese Food

Japan has had a deep and enduring relationship with China, especially in the area of food. Those include Gyoza -- shredded vegetables and meat wrapped up in a thin layer of wheat dough and fried; Mabo Tofu that transforms Japanese tofu into a sweet and spicy fare, and then there's the Japan-adapted Ramen. The stir fried meat and vegetables or the fried Karaage chicken enjoyed in China are also well loved in Japan.
